In this resource box you will find several powerpoints and a word doc.
The ‘Question of Bananas’ and a ‘Question of growing Bananas’ are two fun starters. They have been designed for Key Stage 3 or 4- depending on your class’s ability.
The ‘Impact of Fairtrade’ is a more detailed attempt to cover the main issues on Fairtrade- perhaps with a GCSE class. There are statements, which the students have to sort into three categories- economic, social and environmental. The word doc goes over the same material and can be given as a handout at the end of the lesson or can be used as a stand alone piece if time is short.
