Rushall Farm became organic in 2000.  A fairly extensive system with crop rotation had always been practiced and we wanted to continue farming in tune with the environment. Financial considerations also played a part. 

The farm has diversified by being heavily involved in education and to then end the John Simonds Trust  for Countryside Education was formed in 1983.  The farm sees over 9000 school children every year.  The Pang Valley Charcoal Company is also based on the farm and supplies charcoal to the local area.
