The sheep flock is now made up of 830 middle-aged crossbreed ewes, 350 Lleyn X yearlings, 180 Lleyn X ewe lambs and 950 full and broken mouth Welsh ewes for breeding further Lleyn X ewe lambs. Of the 300+ fattening cattle, 100 are home-bred. All are fed intensively. They include bulls from black and white (Holstein Friesian) milking breeds that are purchased cheaply at 12 weeks of age and reared from calves.
