Organic Centre Wales was set up in 2000 to promote organic farming and food in Wales. It is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the Welsh Development Agency and is run jointly by the Soil Association, IGER, Elm Farm, ADAS Wales and the Institute of Rural Sciences, Aberystwyth. We provide information and run events for farmers, processors, policy-makers, researchers, schools, the public and others.

Service
We can put schools in touch with organic farms around Wales which welcome school visits. These can be from early years up to sixth form and can be tailored to suit the group.
Resources
We distribute resources produced by the Soil Association - see their website for details. www.soilassociation.orgWe will be producing bilingual versions of some of these in 2005.
Subsidies
We may be able to arrange travel subsidies for schools participating in particular projects where funding has been allocated for this.
