One of the primary objectives of the Union is promoting the interests of those engaged in farming and agriculture in Wales, by facilitating the co-operation of farmers and other interests, with a view to ensuring the future viability and profitability of farming in Wales.
To this end, the FUW is fully committed to helping young people learn about food, farming and the countryside and promoting agriculture within the school curriculum.
