The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens (FCFCG), along with charity partners Blue Peter, ContinYou and Save the Children, has launched a grants scheme.
The grants are aiming to: • Give children a chance to learn more about where their food comes from • Create or develop gardening areas at schools (or other educational settings) • Allow children with the most need to benefit from hands-on experience of food growing
As a result of the Blue Peter Mission Nutrition appeal, FCFCG have a limited number of grants available. These are intended as seed funds to buy tools or develop land where children can grow their own food.
If you already have a flourishing garden please pass this form to other schools in your area. If not then read on!
Grants are available thanks to the generosity of children who raised money during the Mission Nutrition appeal. Find out more at: www.missionnutrition.org.uk
