Free teacher training on enquiry based science

Barleylands Farm is hosting a FREE teacher training workshop on Inquiry based science by Sarah Payton. It is for teachers and they will come away with lots of fantastic ideas for science lessons outside.

 

PathwayUK South East, Outdoor Inquiry workshop
Friday 23rd November, 10.30am - 2.30pm
Barleylands Farm (10mins from Billericay Station, which is 30mins from London Liverpool Street).

An informative and hands-on workshop exploring outdoor inquiry-based science in a beautiful farm setting, this workshop will include:


•         Exploring the Pathway IBSE model and cycles of inquiry

•         Linking the science curriculum to the outdoors

•         The use of digital tools to support the inquiry cycle

•         Outdoor data collection

•         A focus on how young people can be supported to undertake inquiries into food-production (as we make our own delicious lunch, after a tractor ride out to the crops!)
