 | Broad Oak Farm is a mixed arable farm with traditional breed suckler cows, pigs and sheep. The farm is run by Mr and Mrs Booth.
The farm is 33.8 hectares in total and is tenanted from the National Trust. It is situated on the Dunham Massey estate and is on the urban fringe of south Manchester. |
The arable crops produced by the farm include:
• Potatoes • Spring barley • Grass
At Broad Oak Farm, strong emphasis is placed on the countryside stewardship scheme and extensive work has been carried out with the RSPB with the aim of encouraging birds to the farm.
