14th June 2011 - A seminar for teachers and farmers. Try your hand at lots of traditional rural crafts and find out how they can be adapted for use in a classroom or as part of a farm visit.

10.00 - 10.15 Welcome and introduction to the day 10.15 – 11.00 Felt Making with Claire Wolstencroft 11.00 - 11.45 Rag Rugs with Chris Mellor 11.45 – 12.00 Spinning without a wheel with Bobbie Harvey 12.00 – 12.45 Lunch 12.45 – 1.45 Corn Dollies with Raymond Rush 1.45 – 2.30 Dry Stone Walling with Sally Hodgson 2.30 – 3.00 Well Dressing on a small scale with Bobbie Harvey
We will be outside for part of the day so remember to dress appropriately!
COST
£30 per person to FACE members to include lunch, tea and coffee £60 per person to non-FACE members (Cheques made payable to FACE by post in advance)
