Relief: Gently rolling landscape, sloping gradually to the east. The farm is sited on or very near a spring-line where water from the chalk Wolds emerges. The land is divided into large fields separated by hedges, a network planted to form wildlife corridors linking with small woods and copses. (see Environment section)
