Business Plan 2009 - 2013
FACE Business Plan 2009 - 2013FACE has produced its business plan for 2009 – 2013, setting out how it will build on its firm foundation and further expand the reach of the charity’s work with schools and farmers.

FACE wants all children to understand where their food comes from, and to know how to choose and prepare healthy food as part of a balanced diet. It believes that young people learn best from direct experiences, both in and out of the classroom, and that well-planned educational visits to farms and other countryside locations have an important part to play in a child’s development.

The charity offers training and support for teachers, and access to a wide range of high-quality curriculum resources. Through the Think Food and Farming programme FACE will also lead delivery of the educational legacy of the successful Year of Food and Farming. The charity plans to expand its regional team over the next five years, to deliver this exciting and challenging agenda across all the English regions and in Wales, and to fund this through a new fundraising strategy, including new forms of membership.

Summary versions of the 2009-13 business plan are available to download below or can be requested in hard copy from the FACE office at the Arthur Rank Centre, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LG.
